MacBook 13" running hot?
« Reply #15 on: June 16, 2006, 03:30:18 PM »
There are now reports that some black MacBooks are developing annoying squeaking when the hinge is moved.

I thought that problem was fixed after Apple had to repair many G3 iBooks for a similar problem.  In the case of the G3 iBooks, the tight hinge could eventually damage the monitor cable that runs inside the hinge. Let's hope that we don't see a repeat with the MacBooks...

If the heat generated is enough to color plastic then the MacBook is exceeding the limits set by Underwriters Laboratory, in which case Apple will be facing lawsuits in short order which will put a dent in their stock price. eek2.gif

Ok ok... No MacBook for at this point dry.gif
Besides, to much changes all the sudden in my life, but you'll be reading about it in other post(s).
The reason why i haven't been around (to much) lately wink.gif

Don't worry, although the changes are (kinda) unexpected... they sure are welcome and positive (if i think it all over).

Talk about it in other topic tongue.gif
