Unhappily I'm unable to create a successful website, so tho' I'm a tad ashamed at having to use Flickr to upload photos, I've sublimated my shame 'cos these shots are really worth sharing. They were sent to me by a friend and I have no idea where they originated. If anyone does, please tell.

Hope you'll enjoy and be amazed at what you find here. Click on any photo to enlarge, or go to the slideshow.

My favorite is the beer bottle.

Have to mention that I was having a spot of bother with the Flickr site and was only able to post this thanks to help from Dick & Jim. Thanks both

Hi Peter - Flickr might just be having a problem at the moment, but clicking on that link takes me to the page "petwil" (guessing that's correct) but that carries a message "cashlin doesn't have any photos available to you".

Presumably Flickr is US based in which case it's the middle of the night (10.15am UK, 5.15am New York, 2.15am California) and they may be doing some maintenance work on the servers. I'll try again later.

PS: What's with the US spelling of "favourite"?

Neil: Think the Flickr problem may be my fault, as I didn't initially allow a 'public' viewing. Have now changed that so it should be OK.

Re: 'favorite', that's just to placate our US friends. I know it's "non-U" (!), but that's the way they like it, so ....when it Rome, etc....

dolphin The only thing wrong with favorite is that it doesn't have a 'u', like wot it oughta.

I'm able to see the photos. (Using Exploder with Windows CE)

Very interesting... much better that the "blank canvas" you see on most trailers here. I'm going to send the link to my son in Germany and ask him if he's seen any of this truck art.

I'm sorry Snopes thinks they're shopped; I wouldn't mind seeing stuff like that! The main problem I would have is would they cause wrecks. It's like those big moving billboard trucks I saw on the Washington Beltway a few years ago and up around Chicago. If you're paying attention to the signage you might miss the little sports car that just changed lanes in front of you!
