Jiggler is a little freeware app with one purpose: to keep your Mac awake.

With that moniker, I thought it was going to have something to do with a certain topic that was discussed in another thread here recently.... wink2.gif

I know that would keep me awake! eek2.gif
Ya gotta applaud those bunnies for sacrificing their hearing just so some guy in Cupertino can have better TV reception.

I don't get it. Wouldn't using the "Never" settings in the Energy Saver PP keep a Mac from sleeping? dntknw.gif

Actually I could have used this last night. My drive is set to never sleep because that is one of the problems encountered with waking in X on the old world Macs. But my screen will sleep after 15 minutes and I was running TechToolPro on my 9600 last night and it took a couple hours. I had to keep moving the mouse to keep it awake so I could see how far it had gone. Yes, I could have changed the Energy settings but I most likely would have forgotten to go back and redo them...

...maybe to remember how to put all those blank lines in your post?

When I've tried that, it hasn't cooperated. Let's see...

Well, whadya know! Maybe it was the old software that didn't allow that, and I just haven't tried it recently. Can't remember!???
