Hi Tacit, You are so right, as always! Ive always done this with groups of photos that Ive wanted to move, wherever, to, from whatever.
But thats right, its not spoken about much.
I drag groups of my photos out of iPhoto all the time to a folder on my desktop or to a networked Mac.
Thank you for clarifiying this method. Ive not used Export much though.
I love iPhoto, even tho I do other things with folders.
Like upload to a printing site like Shutterfly, ClubPhoto, and many others.
Or to a class site where Ive got to post pictures for classwork.
And move our kids travel photos into iPhoto very easily. Just drag em.
