Rather than having the sense to go to bed, I've been kicking the tires of Parallels Beta 3036 and finding that this version adds a lot of neat new stuff. Can't wait to see 3036 when it comes out of Beta status.
One added feature is Coherence Mode. In this mode, you are in your normal Mac desktop with the exception that the Windows Start menu bar is added directly above the Dock. A Windows program (s) can be opened, a Mac application(s) can be opened or Mac and Window apps can be open at the same time.
Talk about integration.
The amount of installed memory will become a limitation with the Coherence Mode. I have 2GB RAM, and I gave Parallels 1GB leaving the same for the Mac side. This split so far keeps both Windows and Mac OS responsive for non-power user stuff. If one needs Windows for power stuff, you would need more memory than a MBP can hold or you would need to use the Boot Camp approach.
