Using Airport on PowerBook G4

How do I set up a wireless connection while on the road when I don't know the server name?

Is there a way to show possible available servers?

Any thoughts and help much appreciated!

If you have Airport turned on it happens automatically. smile.gif

It asks if you want to join a certain Network. Say ok. smile.gif

The easiest way is to enable the Airport status icon in the Finder Menu Bar. When you click on the icon a drop-down menu will show you a list of nearby networks and whether they are password-protected or not.  Select an open network and Hang Ten!
