Cingular to Verizon:
"Can you hear me now?"

Ya gotta applaud those bunnies for sacrificing their hearing just so some guy in Cupertino can have better TV reception.

Apparently they are counting on their other phone suppliers (Samsung, LG, etc.) to provide new models that will somehow complete with the iPhone.

Kind of like Hulk Hogan turning down endorsement  of a small grill...

...which was picked up by George Foreman.

I don’t blame Verizon, Service can make or break a business and to be held by contract from servicing your customers and paying for the privilege seems to be a stretch.
iPhone may ride the tide of iPod, but I suspect better ships will find more harbors.

Apple may challenge the world to build a better Swiss Army phone,  the world will respond, and they will give it away for free, or with a 1 year contract. The Blackberry Pearl is miles ahead of iPhone. For a 1 year contract and $149 you can have one.
