I wonder if he ever listens to himself? dntknw.gif

It must be nice to never have to say you made a misteak. dntknw.gif

However, he obviously has no idea what an "elevator pitch" is. wallbash.gif Or, perhaps all his elevators run Windows! There'd be plenty of time to "pitch" during the re-boots! tongue.gif

Well, where I come from, we have a word for what he said.  And he really is full of it.

As it's a polite forum I will refrain from telling you what the Old Fife Word is, however you may be able to guess it wink.gif

Nowadays, security guys break the Mac every single day. Every single day, they come out with a total exploit, your machine can be taken over totally. I dare anybody to do that once a month on the Windows machine.

huh.gif

Colour me puzzled... I am not the one running around with anti-virus, firewall, anti-adware, anti-spyware software out the gazoo...

I'm not sure what he means by that statement? Security guys break the Mac everyday just for fun? dntknw.gif

That was confusing, to me, also. I suppose someone got word to him about the Month of Apple Bugs thing; that was something that "happened every day". dntknw.gif I'm sure he wouldn't have had any first hand info on much of anything going on the computer world, anyway. It's probably hard to get the straight scoop on any competitor when you're the CEO/COO of any huge corporation. You may get surrounded by  "Yes men" and others just trying to protect they own skin. dntknw.gif

We have substituted the S word with Zune. So in your case it would be "He's full of Zune"  clap.gif

Bill's upset all becauser his Vista went down hill on the day it was released for the public to buy.

Vista wasn't a big hit! All the local stores i stopped in had ample supplies of Vista sitting on the shelves.

M$ will make up money when loading the Vista OS on computers at local retailers and that's probably all that is going to get Vista into the homes.

I really havn't heard any reason on why anyone should upgrade to Vista, and the people giving reviews on it isn't recommending Vista either, and your best way of getting Vista on a computer working is buying a new computer with Vista preinstalled on it.

Wal"FART" mart has the emachines with the Vista Basic for sale for 549.98.  Nothing of interest to me.  Not interested in eMachine or Gateway after their lousy products and tech support ranks extremely low by the consumers. There's even a site dedicated for people that 'HATE" Gateway.  Wish I could think of the name of it now, but I sold my Laptop in order to get another Minivan after I was hit by a large truck.

Bill will find someway in selling a not wanted Vista by pulling all their existing software off the shelves like they did when ME came out.  MS pulled all of MS98 and 95 from the shelves forcing consumers to buy only what was available on the shelfs.  Eventually MS decided no longer to create updates for MS98 and 95 systems.  Same with ME, that was a huge dissapointment OS from MS, and now XP to Vista (OS X ripoff).

So all that's really left for Bill to do is bash Apple and Linux for actually doing and getting something done right.

Beat me to it... I was gonna, well, I'm sayin' it now: Bill's been on a river cruise. You know where.

I guess he thinks that people will assume that because he says it, it must be true. :?:
Ya gotta applaud those bunnies for sacrificing their hearing just so some guy in Cupertino can have better TV reception.
