Didn't that really launch the Super Bowl ad frenzy? Wasn't a big deal before then...
Ya gotta applaud those bunnies for sacrificing their hearing just so some guy in Cupertino can have better TV reception.

It was one of the first, if not THE first ad to encorporate a full fledged movie-like production and expense. It set things in motion so to speak, or maybe I should say it scored a touchdown on first and ten and then took the pigskin home after that one play.

Great AD! clap.gif  cheer.gif  clap.gif

I remember the ad very well as a kid.  Today, the Superbowl ads are all about food, beer, and sex in the ads, and what I call crack-corner advertisment.

The next best ad on the Superbowl was the Budweiser frogs.

However, I do wish they would bring back the Coke ad with all the people singing in harmony. cheer.gif  toothgrin.gif  thumbup.gif  cheer.gif
