Well, "an intermittent pain" would be.... a spasm. Would it not? wink.gif

What Utility do you use Peter? Cocktail? smile.gif

I have Cocktail, SuperDuper & DiskWarior.  I have only really experience of DW.
I've also got Onyx but have never used it.

Gregg:
A young girl who fell in a chasm
‘Cos she had the most terrible spasm
Tho’ ‘twas just intermittent
She often would sit and
Wonder just why she so often has ‘em.

But she only did that occasionally.

DiskWarrier may delete .DS files, but it is way over kill for that small task. Fire up a recent version of Cocktail and click the "Files" icon. Right there is a "DS Store" tab. Click on it and use the "Choose" button to select the disk/folder you'd like to work on. Couldn't be simpler. Do it! tongue.gif
THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF COUNTRIES
Those that use metric = #1 Measurement system
And the United States = The Banana system

Very good! Is that an original ditty?
Ya gotta applaud those bunnies for sacrificing their hearing just so some guy in Cupertino can have better TV reception.

Certainly is Gregg.  Made up immediately after seeing your last post.

Thanks Jim.  I had to download Cocktail 3.7.4 as my previous wasn't compat with Tiger.   I never realised how simple it would be.  Wasn't quite sure which folder to click on, so chose 'Desktop' and hope that does the trick.

Muchas gracias again for the info and directions.  smile.gif
