Cozily ensconced in our 2006 Archives is this exchange . . .
On Harmony Remotes for your entertainment center.Since getting a new plasma and HD DVD player, and reprogramming the Harmiony remote appropriately, I thought it useful to add another comment. Last November, I had used a throwaway line suggesting that
probably Logitech would not have the same service as did the entrepreneur from whom I purchased the device. WRONG.
Think again.
I phoned Logitech because the web site where all the "real" work is done, has been changed since I last had to ask for help.
If possible, it's even better than the original. Plus the Tech I "drew" to help me through a puzzle or two could not have been nicer or well-informed or helpful. Hooray for that division of Logitech.
Now, I've just received a follow-up e-mail telling me to be sure to call again if I need more help , INCLUDING leaving my number for them tocall me back at my convenience!
In case you are interested.
PS: What's also astounding is the roster of "supported" TVs. Conservatively, I'd estimate that you have a list of >2000 boxes to search to find yours. When you find it, and record the setting on your page of the web site, the heavy lifting is o-v-e-r. Amazing device AND service.
