Harmony Remote, again, and . . .
« on: March 04, 2007, 03:03:57 PM »
Cozily ensconced in our 2006 Archives is this exchange  . . .On Harmony Remotes for your entertainment center.

Since getting a new plasma and HD DVD player, and reprogramming the Harmiony remote appropriately, I thought it useful to add another comment. Last November, I had used a throwaway line suggesting that probably Logitech would not have the same service as did the entrepreneur from whom I purchased the device. WRONG.

Think again.

I phoned Logitech because the web site where all the "real" work is done, has been changed since I last had to ask for help.

If possible, it's even better than the original. Plus the Tech I "drew" to help me through a puzzle or two could not have been nicer or well-informed or helpful. Hooray for that division of Logitech.

Now, I've just received a follow-up e-mail telling me to be sure to call again if I need more help , INCLUDING leaving my number for them tocall me back at my convenience!

In case you are interested.

PS: What's also astounding is the roster of "supported" TVs. Conservatively, I'd estimate that you have a list of >2000 boxes to search to find yours. When you find it, and record the setting on your page of the web site, the heavy lifting is o-v-e-r. Amazing device AND service.

Quick, everybody! Create your problems now!!

March must be the month for good customer support. This is at least the third glowing report of different tech departments we've seen here this weekend!
Ya gotta applaud those bunnies for sacrificing their hearing just so some guy in Cupertino can have better TV reception.

I've had the same quality service at Logitech for my Logitech MX mouse and various keyboards that I've acquired from them. I prefer their keyboards for programming preset buttons and iListen for the visual and hearing impaired. The MX mouse is outstanding as well, and any questions are promptly addressed through their service department.  clap.gif
