Does this portend a 10.4.10? Are there developer releases?

As they say...

"The bitterness of poor quality lasts much longer than the sweetness of meeting the schedule."

So yeah, I would rather wait and have it right, than suffer through a poorly crafted release that was on schedule.

This may explain why I heard of a programmer who is still working on assuring Leopard is compatible with PPC machines; "resources moved to iPhone". On the other hand, many times some minor, esoteric functions might not be totally compatible for quite a while for 'older' hardware.

There can't be a 10.4.10 as that has already been done. I suppose there could be a 10.4.9.1 or something but usually such small increments are for very tiny upgrades.

The bad part of this is what it is doing to the stock.

10.4.1 is not the same as 10.4.10, IMHO.

And, if you want to get rid of your Apple stock, I know a willing buyer at $35.
