Oops... MacBook too close

Totally forgetting that there were magnets in the screen on my MacBook, i was using it on a desk in front of a CRT monitor, messing up the monitor.

Don't try this at home kiddies...  whistling.gif

Just an FYI so it doesn't happen to anyone else.
Although you'd think that they'd make a computer that doesn't do any harm to other components  dntknw.gif

It was a school computer monitor that i messed up (Sry gunug  thumbup.gif )

Did you try degaussing the CRT? Usually that cures it - at least it has worked fine for me when speakers etc. (or small children with magnets) have gotten too close to any of our CRTs. If no deguassing button, just turn it off and turn it back on. smile.gif
