What the M$oft thinks some of the world needs
« on: May 06, 2007, 12:46:41 PM »
From the Microsoft Research Center in Bangolore comes a way to have on computer run in "split screen" mode allowing each half to run it's own copy or Windows (at twice the price) and applications (I bet you're not sharing these either) so we can share (nothing is said about splitting the keyboard and mouse in two (you click the right button and I click the left button):

I suspect this would allow them to do something about those pesky Dual-Processor machines that are going to waste.  Next is an octopus machine that splits the screen into eight portions for people with "extremely" good vision and small spreadsheets!  I'm also not sure that some third party didn't already do this back 15 or so years ago.

Can't be more frustrating that Picture in Picture on the TV - can it?

The news and sports divisions need to get there act together and put the graphics and scores in the same corner of the screen so you don't have to be constantly moving the box every time you switch back and forth!
Ya gotta applaud those bunnies for sacrificing their hearing just so some guy in Cupertino can have better TV reception.
