ENGadget Website spoofed about iPhone and Leopard delay!
« on: May 17, 2007, 03:33:25 AM »
Engadget, a website that is pretty well-known for stories about new technology, was spoofed by fake emails into a story that iPhone and Leopard were going to be further delayed:

http://www.engadget.com/2007/05/16/iphone-...n-until-januar/

The value of Apple stock went down 2.2 percent as a result!

Engadget is saying someone at Apple actually sent out the false email!

Funny, I noticed the fast drop of several points on Wednesday's chart and an almost as quick rebound.
Didn't understand why until I saw this:

Wars, and rumours of wars...

Some things will never change.
Ya gotta applaud those bunnies for sacrificing their hearing just so some guy in Cupertino can have better TV reception.
