Dear TS,

I almost wrote in asking about a problem I was having, but was able to solve it myself.

Then I realized... There I go again!  Coming by, hat in hand, when I need some help!

So... I don't need anything now, just want to say...

Hi! How is everyone? I'm thinking about you, and I hope this finds everyone well and happy, and having a glorious summer!

Don't feel too badly...I've been doing the same thing! I came back after a hiatus of several years, posting like mad, b/c I am a total newbie at OS X.

You may not have noticed that now there is a Community bulletin board here at TS as well. I expect this thread to be moved there, in fact. thumbup.gif

One thing about the folks here: They are so nice, no one even says, "You &^%! You posted too soon and wasted everyone's time!"

The fact is, guilty (and dumb) as we may feel, our small successes at figuring things out may help someone else down the line.

No, Chris, as a matter of fact, I did not. I've been extremely busy with some books my husband and I are working on.

As you (obviously) recall, I wanted to be able to receive transmissions from my Airport Extreme on my beige G3 tower. I have installed USB ports, and the OS 9 (which a very kind person supplied) but I have not been able to find a link back to the devices which might work with it. The original link which Kelly supplied, that would have worked with OS 9, is gone, or I can't find it.

If you ... or anyone ... has can offer some help on this again, I would greatly appreciate it.

Uh... Does this mean I'm going to be moved back to the Tech forum??? I'm getting dizzy!
