Keele University researchers said it showed petty crime was rife among the middle classes and exposed the "law-abiding majority" to be a myth.

Their poll of 1,807 people in England and Wales found 61% had committed one of a series of offences.

They included paying "cash in hand" to avoid VAT and stealing items from work.

The study found that around one-third of those questioned (34%) paid "cash in hand" to avoid taxation and about one in five (18%) had taken something, such as stationery, from work.

The majority don't get caught.
Apparently the criteria is if you don't do time, it isn't a crime.
Ya gotta applaud those bunnies for sacrificing their hearing just so some guy in Cupertino can have better TV reception.

What, no rebuttals?

Personally, I've never exceeded a speed limit, failed to stop completely at a stop sign, taken so much as a paperclip from work without permission, cycled on a footpath or sworn. I've also never EVER told a lie....  Devilish2.gif

We seem to have misplaced 2 new data-projectors here at my office so naturally I thought about this subject; can't see it being worth a persons reputation to have "stolen' them!
