Some of you undoubtedly knew about this blog (fakesteve.blogspot.com) but I guess it slipped by me.  Anyway the NYTimes put a reporter on it and have revealed his "secret identity" in this article:

You'll have to subscribe for that one... (((sigh)))...

But I didn't heard of the fake Steve myself, but I'm not sure why going through the trouble of identifying the author?
It's not like he was hiding it that he wasn't THE Steve, I mean his blog is called "fakesteve.blogspot".

Two hours later, I found this article on Yahoo about the discovery of the true identity of the fake Steve Jobs blogger.
Not sure if it's as good as the one Gunug posted but it gave me some insight (really never heard about this before) and it's nice if you don't wish to sign up to read the article.

I'm sorry; I didn't have any trouble getting into that link myself. I have an ID set for NYTimes but I added that story from a Linux DVD boot disk on my laptop and it shouldn't have had any cookies saved.

Guess these kinds of thing come with the territory. Good to see that Jobs can take a ribbing "and keep on ticking!" smile.gif Others might start talking to their lawyers! eek2.gif
