Apple to hold press release next week

OK, what do you think is going to be announced? Revised iPod? (probably not since it is supposed to be "Mac" related) Change in iTunes? Tablet Mac? Upgrade to Apple TV?

I think Apple may be buying Microsoft so they can garner all the profits from Vista, the xBox and Zune. Not to mention the goodwill value of the company! dntknw.gif

My bet: new iMacs and minis. They're next in line for an upgrade/overhaul. But I'm not going to waste too many brain cells on this - Apple is kinda like the weather; you'll know what it really is when it happens!! smile.gif

Further thought: how about a new iPod line with consumer replaceable batteries??????? (or how about consumer replaceable drives, since we have two of the darn things now with dead or expiring drives...)

Paddy may win he bet, MacWorld UK is betting it will be about new iMacs, but then adds that it will be in the same venue as the iPod introductions. wallbash.gif Another suggestion is that iLife apps ( remember those? ) will be upgraded.

Unfortunately for Paddy, you must be present to win and attendees are by invitation only. Sorry. tease.gif
