I was chatting with my son awhile ago and told him my story. He did a quick search and found a message board where people were discussing the JVC receiver and iPod adaptor. The following is what one guy had to say.

This scrolling issue comes up anytime you want to select something near the middle of the alphabet in a long list. For example I have over 1000 artitst in my iPod, and if I wanted to listen to Led Zeppelin, I'd have to navigate to Artists, select, then scroll right past over 500 artitsts. Since the KD-HDR1/KS-PD100 started to skip through the list, this took me only a minute or two, but not as quick as using the iPod interface directly on the iPod.
So, I need to do some playing around to see if I can find the illusive podcasts. My son suggested that I set up some Playlists with the Podcasts.
Sounds like a good idea...
