Those wide fluctuations in short time spans are amazing!
Ya gotta applaud those bunnies for sacrificing their hearing just so some guy in Cupertino can have better TV reception.

I have satellite TV and access to local weather conditions worldwide which is also available on the web if you lOOk.
More people+higher quality of food+grain for fuel+shifting rain patterns +higher land prices+salt water intrusion into groundwater can easily explain the trend.
