Shutdown cancel
« on: February 04, 2008, 07:23:33 AM »
I don't know how often I've clicked Shutdown and then realized there was one more thing I intended to do first. Whether there was some reason that wouldn't work in OS9, or earlier, for that matter, I have no idea, but it sure would have been useful. Having said that, I've yet to use the feature in the last month and a half, but I'm sure I will someday; as long as I haven't clicked that blue button yet...
Ya gotta applaud those bunnies for sacrificing their hearing just so some guy in Cupertino can have better TV reception.

It's not something I've ever needed, either, knock on wood. But it is improved in Leopard in that in Tiger (and earlier, I suppose) the shutdown waited two minutes before occurring. Now it only waits one minute. "Shutdowns" are twice as fast in Leopard! Not many OS upgrades can claim to to things twice as fast as earlier ones! smile.gif

And the United States = The Banana system
