Glad this topic is not "User Disappeared in my messages folder".

That might be a little harder to solve. wink.gif
Ya gotta applaud those bunnies for sacrificing their hearing just so some guy in Cupertino can have better TV reception.

OK, now I understand those PM's I've been getting. wink.gif

The individual in question could not log in to TS with his regular name/password no matter what he tried. He was able to register as a new person so the only recourse was to "delete' the original account and move all the information over to the new account.

So you still see that person as his old identity. The only differences are the date of registration and the fact that searches that might have been done for his previous posts won't be able to use his name as a help in finding the posts. His previous posts are still there, just not able to be found via the Search engine by his name;  you have to use other words that are pertinent to the thread you are trying to find. It occurred to me afterward that I could have just changed the original name and kept the ability to search using the new name but it was too late.  steprake.gif

Thanks Kris,

BTW, I love that first emoticon! It's interesting how when I am under pressure or "someone has the flapjaw going full tilt in your ear" that I really cannot think strate and I start making misteaks. Sometimes I don't even need the above mentioned intreferenses. toothgrin.gif

2nd BTW, Thanks for all the help you've given me, both by replies to my posts, and the P.M.s you've sent me in response to my queries..
You too, Paddy!

And with additional help from ABD, Gregg and others too numerous to mention.

I sure wouldn't be where I am now without the tireless help I get here on TS!
Great bunch of people!
