I have downloaded a jpg image that I would like to enlarge. Can't handle this through iPhoto so I'd like to find a freeware that could do this, as it would be a one time or very limited use thing.

Graphic Converter
ought to do the job.
You can download it - the trial version just makes you wait to get past the initial screen.

One
here
called "iResize" if that is all you are looking to do.
Price is 'right' also.

Here's several freeware graphics apps that you might want to try.
Seashore @
http://seashore.sourceforge.net/
ImageJ @

Goldberg @

Gimp @

How much do you want to enlarge it? ? You may be disappointed in the quality of the enlarged image.

Used iResize. Lost a little bit of the sharpness the larger the image got, but what the heck. It got the job done and as you say, the price was right! Thank you!
