Yabba Dabba Do!
« on: April 04, 2008, 02:33:32 AM »
There is an artist in Toronto who has taken the shell of an old Buick (1980's?) and converted it to a four seat peddle car:

He didn't have a license because it was no longer a motor vehicle but the police gave him a ticket and towed it anyway!  Hijinks are
sure to take place in the courtroom.  Here's a direct link to the video of this event:

It's a shame that the artist's name wasn't Fred!

I wish there was more about the pedal mechanism, the weight of the stripped down car... the operating system, uh...
Ya gotta applaud those bunnies for sacrificing their hearing just so some guy in Cupertino can have better TV reception.

Well Gregg, if it had too many technical details I'd have had to have put it into the Technical Section of TS! wink.gif

Better rundown of the day in court:

http://www.thestar.com/News/GTA/article/410165 (the Star is a MUCH better paper... wink.gif )

QUOTE
The prosecutor's case began to unravel when he turned his attack to the tea light-candle headlights...

"What would happen," Lerner charged with pointed conviction, "if a lit candle hit another car?"

As the small courtroom in Old City Hall erupted in giggles, Lerner withdrew his question.

They'd better learn to build and implement things like that because we all might need them someday; like Fred did!

Prosecutor, "Doctor, was the victim alive when you started the autopsy?" huh.gif
Witness, "Could you repeat that question with intelligence?" Thinking.gif
