Standard office templates in Office 2008
« on: May 17, 2008, 06:57:37 PM »
I have an invoice template generated in Excel 2004, that I use for my business. This template came from Office 2004 and contains Visual basic components. Therefore the template won't open in Excel 2008.Excel 2008 does not seem to have any set of templates that are useful for office admin (invoice, interest rate calculator, etc.).  Since it doesn't appear that VB will return to to Office 2008 for maybe a year, is there any way I can fix this while keeping the same format as before?

Not exactly a solution, but if no other option comes to pass, a workaround (since both Office 2004 and 2008 can live in harmony on the same volume) is to merely reinstall Office 2004.
