Mac Myths dispelled by a Windows user!
« on: May 21, 2008, 03:51:02 PM »
Here's an <article/blog> written by a guy who used a PC for many, many years and used many Mac myths to convince himself that a Mac couldn't do what a PC did. He finally grew tired of fighting the viruses, hacks, attacks, trojan horses, etc. and bought a Mac. In this article, he takes 7 common myths and explains why they are, indeed, simply that. He also includes a short video showing how to install a new HD in a Mac desktop. Simple, elegant, well engineered, "It just works!" smile.gif

Might be helpful for some fence sitters! smile.gif Also quite a few reasonable, non-inflamatory comments. 60 in all and I haven't taken the time to read all of them but what I did read were 9.75 out of 10 in agreement with this fellow. clap.gif
THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF COUNTRIES
Those that use metric = #1 Measurement system
And the United States = The Banana system
CAUTION! Childhood vaccinations cause adults!

Here's one that's not a myth...

Digital photos cropped with iPhoto sent to Walgreens via Snapfish are not printed properly. That is, the print doesn't jive with the preview you see on the computer screen. Snapfish tech support suggested using something other than iPhoto to crop them.

Same photos, sent without tinkering directly to Walgreens came out fine. Snapfish doesn't play nice with Macs.
Ya gotta applaud those bunnies for sacrificing their hearing just so some guy in Cupertino can have better TV reception.
