BTW, the skin I use also has a tiny 'picture' button in the Fast Reply window. That's what you use to "Insert an image." I've never tried it but it, apparently expects you to already have an image uploaded to some private web space you have. I suppose the only way to get a file off your HD is to use the "Full Reply" method.

"BROWSE" vs "Choose File" is the difference in the skins you and I are using (we've all had this round the merry-go-round discussion before ... hehehe), and that's why I gave you a screen cap so you could see where the oddly labeled buttons are found.

On second thought, your first response didn't actually say one could not use the Fast Reply window. You only said to open "the regular reply box and not the Fast Reply." Since these were simply your 'directions' I did not assume that it was not possible to use the Fast Reply window. And, in fact, Your Honor, it is possible to post an image with the Fast Reply window. As Exhibit #16 plainly shows, an image can be uploaded/linked/placed in a post from the Fast Reply window. It simply must be already on the interweb! What cannot be done in that window is to upload something directly from ones drive.

Now that's weird. Plain ol' weird. I just tried every skin here and I have the "Manage" pull down on the right hand side. The only diff might be our browsers. I use FF. Either way, it's just weird.

At least you were able to figure out how to upload an attachment to the board.

Just happened again... trying to edit out the first part and last part of a long quote with several "paragraphs" separated by a space. I was definitely using the backspace key. It was deleting normally until the cursor ended up at the beginning of the last line, then it took out the '[' instead of the blank line above.

I guess it is just this non-Mac keyboard. It must speak a different dialect!
