Yup!!!!!!! Celebrating the day with Mac made it the best birthday ever. Got a nice card from our niece (and I think my Aunt Rosie is responsible for that), and also got a card from my aunt and uncle.
We had a picnic lunch at the beach and hiked "the loop" with 2 great inclines (one down and one up). Then we went downtown and parked and walked to the library and the PO and back to the car, got a cup of java and went to the waterfront. Mac fed peanuts to the squirrels and I sat in the sun and called my aunt and uncle and thanked them for the birthday bucks. I also tossed peanuts to the sea gulls and the squirrels. Between the beach and the waterfront -- I have one sunburned face and neck. OUCH! I've been cooling myself off with ice. I have a roast in the oven (late dinner at home since we were out so late this afternoon) and I'm not gonna want to open the door to take it out. OUCH!
We rented a James Bond movie for tonight as well. I'd sure like to own the set, but it's too many $$$. Anyhow, it was a grand day and I’m off to make the taters and relax.
