OK I have a new-to-me PowerBook G4 and so I have had to authorize another computer out of my limit of 5. The first was my desktop, the second was my iBook which was stolen when my car was stolen a couple years ago. The third was my son's iBook which he has let me use for the last two years.  Now I want to de-authorize the two iBooks.  Is there anyway to do that and gain back the two authorize slots?

Er...uhm...it sure looks like it wants to "De-authorize" the computer with which you are accessing the store. That might make it difficult to do for a computer you can no longer can access. Thinking.gif Maybe it will give you a list but it doesn't seem to imply that. dntknw.gif I just don't like to click on "Kill Me!" buttons, especially ones without ellipsis'! eek2.gif

My Grandkids have two of our older Macs. One is not now used, looks like a good excuse for another trip to go see them! It's only 11.5 hours, one way...laugh.gif OTOH, the 12 year old could probably do this on her own! She's that families 'electronics' expert! smile.gif

Thanks everybody,

Your information was very helpful.  My question was based on bad information given to me by a friend. He told me that once you authorize 5 computers you are done and have to create another account.  I did not think that sounded right but wanted to make sure.
