Every 'ideology' has its extremists. Not that I don't believe there will eventually be an end to all we know and see, but that the time and manner will not be of our pre-knowledge and certainly not in our control. In the meantime, it is my responsibility to provide my faith-inspired 'solution' to all I can in whatever way I can.
But you are absolutely correct in your statement that "the choice is yours." To me that both makes it the most unusual of 'solutions' and what makes it so hard for many to understand and accept. All our cultures teach us that we must work or earn anything we get. "Love" is the exception, in most places but the word is so distorted that it is often hard to know what true Love actually can do.
All in all, this guy and his 'group' are a great example of 'pessimistic thinking.' It is almost always easy to find fault with any human created entity. And their failure only helps confirm those 'faults.' But even I can see faults in his logic and some of the 'facts' he makes without any evidence in support. Maybe his early comments that people "...assure one another that at last the wool has been lifted from their eyes" could apply to himself?
I guess he's just trying to be able to say he lifted the wool first!
