Dewey: New Interface to Music in the Internet Archive
« on: February 03, 2009, 09:32:39 AM »
Okay, I admit it, I like the Live Music section of the Internet Archive "a whole lot" and I have spent some time sampling groups and venues and then downloading the one's I'd like to listen to locally.  This is supposed to be a place where everything is okay'd by the artists/record companies and everything is above board.  The problem is the interface is clunky.  There is an improved, faster interface now called DEWEY:

http://deweymusic.org/

It lets you go through the large collection and stream things and easily download a whole archive of a given event.  This stuff is mostly lesser known groups who are only famous locally, regionally, or maybe in their own minds!
