Hawking said the same thing, I called their customer support, and they told me that they have noting that can run on a Mac only network.

Thanks for all the help, but I was wondering about the option of USB printer sharing, can we put a USB printer sharing Extension in an 8.1 system folder, or update the 6500 to 8.6/ 9.x and use USB printer sharing for the printer?

If so could you please explain how?

Yes you could run 9.x well on the 6500 if you max the RAM.

It would run best with a G3 Upgrade.
