Has anyone noticed how much Macs are used in certain sales catalogs such as for office furniture and equipment? Quite often I'll see an eMac iMac, G4, and even a G3 powerbook!! Does this give evidence to an increasing number of Mac-aware people?

I think Macs are used in ads because they're considered an upper class computer.

Besides... they're nicer to look at.

The NEWF (trucking firm) has a Duo 230 in its flier

We have everyone standing around the iMac/ Server for our buisness in our flier.

Despite the fact that our school has switched to PCs, their Budget proposal sent out to all of the Citizens of Yates County has a picture of a room full of kids sitting at 5260s and LC580s. Oops

Yes they look nicer.

And a lot of people in Advertising use macs.

Last time I was at Ikea in Toronto, they had plastic iMac replicas in their displays. Wonder if they have iLamps now? Not so many in their last catalogue though...

Target use them all the time.

The Boston Globe home delivery ad has a G4.

The latest Comcast flier has one.

All over the place in the Pottery Barn teen catalogue!
