Anyone ready for summer.?.
« on: May 22, 2003, 10:07:56 PM »
I'm getting there.
Found my snorkel. Opened a new roll of duck tape and patched it.
Found my swimming trunks ... errr ... might on the misty side. So bought  some new ones.
Filled up my olympic size pool.
Jumped in. Thought about jumping in head first .. passed.
Lost a bit of water anyways.

Yup! Getting there. <gr>

Not ready yet. Our summer up here is from June through September.  dry.gif

Deserves an answer... wink.gif

Unfortunately Bill I'm still waiting for spring to set in good and proper, which I think it finally is... but I hate to say these things because it usually means snow the next day.

We cannot count on (officially) frost free nights until June 1st... and I've seen otherwise...  jawdrop.gif

Mowed the lawn for the first time of the season "quick" after the last snow melted!

oops.gif Gregg beat me to it... but his message is about the same... smile.gif

Greg...

You just have to pretend it's summer.  I have had my boat in the water since the second week in April.  I have actually used it quite a bit since then.   In fact I am going out tonight.

It's 47 degrees and drizzling here...pretty un-summery in my books. Apart from a few days here and there, it's been a very long cold snowy winter followed by a long, cold spring. sad.gif

I'M READY for summer - it just doesn't seem ready for New England!!!

Yipes Bill what is that? Yeah that should do it alright...  tongue.gif

L'dMAO at the dog/cat/pool fiasco... Poor Smoky... *LOL** Did Bridget have a big grin? (if dogs grin)... I love Jack Russells... I unfortunately have to think about how much of a mind of their own they have (which is what I love them for) but if I move... Spencer and the "terror"... errr I mean "terrier" in him is bad enough!   rolleyes.gif
