I did the WALK
« on: May 23, 2003, 05:36:18 PM »
Hello EVERYONE,
so i just walked... well i mean did THE WALK ... well i mean i graduated biggrin.gif I must say it was a rather odd and unusual graduation. this is one graduation i will not forget. cold and rainy day, everyone packed in a gym there was a flood of people in black. well namely the people in black were the people graduating. before the graduation ceremony we had to line up in our given number, which was actually the best part since we just hung around taking funny pics. when it was time, we all lined up. there was a jazz orchestra on stage in the gym. it was wicked packed! the gym couldnt even fit everyone which was sad. felt like a line of celebraties since there were people taking pictures outside and inside the gym. well to make a long story short... the ceremony was great... no boring speeches... and here are some of the highlights: speech about WHY THE  chicken crossed the road... professors and guests on stage wearing sun glasses that one of the alumni's had designed and had gotten famous because of it, things going wrong with the lights... the big screen going off several times, someone coming in with a rabbit suit... another one coming in with a dinosaur suit... me nearly silding off the ramp from the stage well those were just someeee of the highlights of the night biggrin.gif
Thank you for listening (ahem)

p.s. why did the chicken crossed the road?
clinton says... i DID not crossed the road with the chicken. Could you please define the word chicken?  biggrin.gif

Congratulations Smiley!  clap.gif

Follow your dreams and you'll have no regrets.
One of the worst things to ever find yourself saying is, "I wish I had...".

biggrin.gif Krissel... I totally agree on that "I wish I had..." kinda phrase... I dont say it often. I'm sort of that ambitious dreamer that thinks that i can reach for the sky if i wanted to... like i wanted to be an astronaut biggrin.gif I'm glad you said follow your dreams... and dont think it's some cheesy saying wink.gif

 thanx.gif

Studies show that just saying "I wish I.........(fill in the blank)", isn't that great for one's outlook.

"Im glad I.......(fill in the blank)" is a much better attitude.

I hope you make good decisions and choices.

I wish you happiness. smile.gif

Never had a Dad But I had plenty of older Brother in-laws when younger.
Once brother in-law always reminded me " Bern! There's no such thing as you Can't"
I've kept this in mind since my teen years.  He was correct.   Congrats to you smile.gif
