Not too different from the multitouch surfaces that several companies are developing. Even Apple has a patent on touch that doesn't have to actually come in contact but senses proximity. Of course this project is much more 3D in application.

One thing that I don't get is why people are willing to give up a mouse that requires subtle small movements to cover large expanses in trade for having to wave their arms all over the place?  Thinking.gif

Hey, I do 40 laps in the pool several times a week. That's enough exercise for my arms.  yes.gif
