As xairbusdriver knows, I had problems that became systemic with my Mac. I don't know if it was me or Leopard waiting in the jungle. Whichever, I reinstalled the OS and all had been backed up so I did not lose photos which are my livelihood. I realized, with all the help here, and the mess that continued no matter what I tried, that I had to bite the bullet. Now, all is smooth as glass and I have learned a ton. Thanks.

Something I lost was the fellow guitar player who allowed me in here in the first place. This photo is for him. I don't have a plethora of guitars but I have 3. On the left is my Martin D-28 which I purchased immediately after getting out of the Navy, in the middle is my Stetson, 1927 or 8 as far as I can tell from research and on the right is my guild F5 12 NT.

These are what I play, when I have the time. I always wanted a 59 Strat but I can't justify it when it would just gather dust. Thanks all. this has been a time for growing for me. I started a forum for photographers and have worked on understanding how to navigate php. I love to learn and problems are the main reason for learning. You folks have been a great help. Thanks.

Hi Tony,

Well, I didn't exactly "allow" you to be here! I was just doing my job to make sure you were a legitimate-member-to-be and not some spammer. When we get a request for membership, we moderators/admins go through a certain set of tests and research to try to make sure that whomever is applying to become a TS member really belongs here. You can't believe the number of spammers we get requesting to become TS members. I know, I got blindsided by one, and a couple of us have approved members who ended up being banned as spammers.

Glad to hear that your Mac is running smoothly, and nice picture of those guitars! That Stetson, wow!  drool.gif I'd love to put my fingers on that one sometime! I love those parlor guitars. And the Martin and the Guild look like lovely instruments as well! I had a Martin D-28 for years until I got my first Froggy Bottom way back in 1975. Luckily for me, I got in the ground floor when Michael was a one-man operation in the upstairs of his house in NH. Now there's no way I can afford one his instruments!

Thanks for the photos, keep on pickin' and grinnin'!!!

Best,

Chris K toothgrin.gif

I don't know beans about guitars other than I like they way they sound, but if Chris is drooling - those must be spiffy guitars. wink.gif biggrin.gif

I'm glad you joined us Tony; and I hope you'll drop in more often to visit.
