On the Mac Tips site this morning a tip by Dominic P. Tremblay tells us how to enable our iPhoto for Cooliris, its really neat!
Here is a screenshot of it, the instructions,

I don't understand what updating Safari or FF has to do with using the iPhone. Safari is the only full-feature browser allowed on the iPhone. FF doesn't run on the iPhone. If it's an iPhone app, what would one need either FF or Safari on ones desk/laptop Mac? dntknw.gif If it's an iPhone app, it's not using Safari on the iPhone, either. Third-party apps are not allowed to access each other nor the Apple apps (except for a few things like basic app start up processes and email text passing).

I dont have an iPhone yet, but I updated Cooliris to use on my Macs using iPhoto, its really neat.

I havent a clue if you can run iPhoto on an iPhone. I know theyve got tons of third party goodies though.

iPhoto, not iPhone. Cooliris is a Safari/FF plugin for Mac, and the new version allows you to look at your iPhoto library from within your browser. It uses CoreImage and CoreAnimation to give you a pretty stunning (though, to be fair, not terribly practical for large photo libraries like mine) display of your images.
A whole lot about me: www.xeromag.com/franklin.html

Yes, that is funny, if you have a huge lot of pictures like we do, and flowers especially which are bright, you can almost get seasick scrolling them all across the screen. My husband thought it was pretty awesome, but he has not asked me to download the Cooliris plug in for his Mac yet.

I remember being at the Mugar Theater in Boston Museum of Science watching the incredible movie "Speed", when the announcer at the begining said that if you feel seasick during the movie, just shut your eyes!  It worked.

OK, what is the "iPhoto" thing?! tongue.gif blush-anim-cl.gif

However, they do make a <version> for the iPhone, and that is why the mention of a browser confused me. smile.gif

<Another great review of Cooliris>. Some seem to be not quite as impressed, however. dntknw.gif
