Now, to
Herr Dr. Professor MamaMoose:Whadaya mean a 4-cylinder body? The chassis is heavy duty, just like yours, I hasten to add. Without a new gear box, I need all the torque I can muster!
Automotive Sidebar: While showing a friend around the Peninsula on Friday, I stopped in (for the first time) at the Tesla showroom/assembly plant (on El Camino, in Menlo Park). Their little jewels – a 2 seater, of course, and a sedan (in process) are simply gorgeous. 2 speeds, only,
Forward and
Reverse, 0-7000 rpm, mol i-n-s-t-a-n-t-l-y. The body panels are flown-in from the UK (Lotus). The assembly "line" looks similar to a clean room at HP.
