Log OUT. Log IN, on that page, under Options, check the little box Privacy, do you want to appear on the active users list? Don't add me to the active users list. You are now "hidden".

Jennie, I've tried this, but I'm finding out that this setting doesn't always "stick". I usually don't logout of TS, and now when I return later I often see my name in the list. Again, not the biggest problem in the world, but it is annoying to have to remember to logout/login everytime.

Hmmmmm.....it works for my machine and browser.

It's cookie controlled; are you deleting cookies at the end of your browsing experience?

Nope. When i come to TS I'm already logged in, so the cookies seem to be working ok--I'm just listed in the active users list.

Rob.
Your cookies could of gotten corrupt somehow.
Follow Jennies advise. First try the "TS" cookies. Then sign back in (make sure to check the "hide" box) and go to your "my controls".
There,set up the settings you like.

If that doesn't work,you might need to delete any of your browser cookies that has anything to do with TS.

Here is the help page for removing cookies from the board, and further instructions on how to clear cookies manually in IE and Netscape.

Well, so far deleting the cookies seemed to do the trick. I had done this once before--so let's see if it "sticks".

Well, I think I just found out why it's now working right. I saw in the other thread about this that the feature is now gone.
