Turning Bach over, around and upside down!
« on: September 12, 2009, 06:27:14 AM »
I do enjoy a great variety of music and anything by J.S. Bach is just okay by me!  There is a nice animation of the process of inversion on Bach's Crab Canon at this website:

Along with a bunch of other food for thought!

Further proof of the value of visualization in understanding concepts.  smile.gif

Agreed, I can always understand visual concepts much better with visuals! yes.gif Especially visual concepts, even if they're really musical or mathematical. 8D

What I really need help with is keeping up with who the nameless "they/them/he/she" are/is when the actual identity changes in the middle of a sentence. Now, if there were just a few visuals, like indicating that one group/person is on one side of the speaker and now he/she points to a new group/person in another direction...it's those visuals, again. wallbash.gif "Personal pronouns are always better with visuals!
