FF is widely used, Safari is made by Apple, known for having secure products, IE is made by the sponsor of the 'show.' I doubt the show managers would be allowed to mention too many non-MS products. Need I say more? dntknw.gif As far as I know, the problem was fixed some time ago.

What was never said is what the 'malware' did to the Mac except maybe crash Safari. What was the point? dntknw.gif

Try emptying the caches or moving the Safari plist out of the. Prefs folder. I haven't seen Safari 4 crash since I installed it! smile.gif

BTW, I also have the cache set to zero bytes. That's one less operation/place for app to worry about! wink.gif dntknw.gif

Sorry, that setting was changed/hidden in version 4. But you can use the "Develop" menu to "Disable Caches." And the "Debug" menu "Show Caches Window" will show what else might be 'clogging things up.'

Another item you might want to disable in the Develop menu is the "...Site-specific Hacks".
