I made a new partition on my work machine and installed Snow Leopard on it and it seems to have gone alright except I can't run Disk Utility on the partition. I get a message that it fails and the details are here:

I let it pull setup information from the other partition (10.5.11) so I suppose that could be the trouble. Any thoughts?
