"Green" question..... OR
« on: October 27, 2009, 12:19:40 PM »
After an number of computer changes / upgrades / swap-outs, etc., etc...  I have a goodly number of various memory sticks of wide vintage and storage capacity.  Some are OEM or are from reputable/reliable dealers and all were functional at time of "storage".

These have been NEATLY stored away for that day when I would surely 'need' 1 or more of them for something or another. toothgrin.gif Thinking.gif

BUT, the time has arrived (along with the wife and cleaning crew) to see if there is some place that they may be more useful. whistling.gif

Does anyone out there in the TS community have any suggestions as to how to best "GET RID OF" these items?

My precious, sweeeeeet, darling Mac computer (OS 9.2.2) is ancient but, just the same, I'm wondering if any of those gizmos you have NEATLY tucked away would work. Send me a PM and we'll discuss if you're interested.  happy.gif

eBay may get you the widest market. Never used it and the costs may be more than the prices you could charge. But it may be a way of finding what they might be worth, also. dntknw.gif No rush, anyway, and maybe some more TSers will come buy (no pun intended, of course!). wink.gif

Some suggestions ...
  1. Donate them to your library.
  2. Donate them to the local Sr. Center.
  3. Donate them to a local computer club.

All of which are VERY PC-centric, at least around here.  But I'll look into them....
Mainly what I have is replacement memory.... (Electronic not cranial)..
