Here are a couple links that tie Petra's voodoo Mac thread and this one (Perdue) together.

I got my PowerMac back today. Everything works perfectly again.

When I had a look on the bill, though, I was glad that Apple is paying it. It said 1500 Euros!
What they did was to replace the entire motherboard.

Anyway, I'm glad that my PowerMac is back and runing fine and I am very happy about Apple's customer support.

FWIW:

I have been a consultant to CEOs for over 25 years.

Without exception they are as Pendragon noted.

They want to know what's going on if you have, in fact, used the organization's people/methods and remain an unsatisfied customer. In the final analysis, why are they (will they continue to be) in business if not to have satisfied customers?

A polite letter stating your case with clear descriptions/dates/results will get a response. Those who don't/won't respond can always be cited in TS.

Those who do . . . such as Petra described . . . deserve particularly special mention.

After reading this thread the other day,I opted for the AppleCare extension for this box last friday. So I'm good-to-go for an extra two years.

Makes me feel all warm inside. <-I did not type that! My dog did it. <gr>

Petra - You rule!

I'm going to follow your lead and email the top if I can't get a few things straightened out about this bad superdrive they want to charge me for even though it came with a form saying them "did not" want the bad one back with the replacement they shipped me!

A very warm greetings to all from Texas!

Would I like to have Mr. Jobs e-mail!

Had an interesting experience with their creditor with my account I had until Last month.  No logical explanation exists for their action and I would like to "take it up a notch," to a higher level.  However, the apple website has not been much help in providing me with a window to go to.

Vijay is correct, that's the address I wrote. Just note that it's not Steve Jobs himself that reads the mails, but it is someone high up in the food chain at Apple.

I also suggest you keep a civil manner, be constructive as well, and I'm sure you'll get a reaction in some way within a few days.
