MenuCalendarClock oddity
« on: March 28, 2010, 12:54:43 PM »
I've been running MenuCalendarClock for iCal for quite some time. When I upgraded from 10.4 to 10.5, I got an alert with my first startup that said I needed to upgrade MCC, and it gave me an upgrade button. I clicked and let it install. Ever since I've been receiving these annoying alerts that MCC wants to know where my copy of Entourage is to be found.  dntknw.gif I've never run slush's program and I was stumped. This morning I was so annoyed I went in search of a replacement for MCC. I was pleasantly surprised to find MCC for iCal at the developer's site. I downloaded and installed and dumped the slushy version.

I've now dropped a short note to the developer. I think it's kinda stinky that folks are pointed to the slushy version when they are running the iCal version.

I know y'all are already way ahead of me in upgrades, but someone else might come along with this question ... so at least now here's the tale of the whale, no that's the tail of the clock, no that's the story of the clock. toothgrin.gif
