It works on my machine...  Barely...  And I absolutly HATE using Quark in Classic... Soooooooooo sloooooooooowwwwww....  sleep1.gif
I would rather boot into OS 9 to use it instead of running classic.  It's the only one of my graphics programs that isn't X native, so it's very frustrating.  I don't know how to explain the things that is does when running in classic...  When switching back and forth between Quark and any X application I have to "hide" Quark, then open the other app in X that I want to use.  Then to go back to Quark I have to "hide" any other app, switch back to Quark..  Otherwise the screen gets all "funky" for lack of a better word...  I've been using InDesign lately because that is X native...

ok ok... Xpress might be a little buggy wuggy when you have other programs opened on 10.2 but it still works. sometimes indesign does not want to print correctly on certain printers so if you use that becareful of postscript problems.

Xpress is not the best program to work with, but it works biggrin.gif

If you can wait some longer, Quark XPress 5 is on it's way, it's OsX native but i'm not sure if that's the only major update.
It seems they are also upgrading their "webdesign" features.

Apparently, QuarkXPress 6 will not be downwardly compatible to version 4. So, if I upgrade to 6, I have to rely on all the printers, bureaus, publication production depts, etc. that I use, upgrading as well. Otherwise - problems. mad.gif

Quark's stupidity amazes me sometimes and with this one, I think they're playing right into Adobe's hands.

I'm going to have a serious look at InDesign.

How stable is Quark 5 under OS X?

Why didn't you try InDesign before, hehehe
I wouldn't be surprised if Adobe will release InDesign 3 soon.
