Don't be rattled. That's no big deal. smile.gif

I'm running OS X right now.

I think it's under the File Menu at the upper left.

Click on it and look at the options.

Don't be afraid of hurting anything Mrs. L.

It's an adventure is all. smile.gif

MrsL,  welcome,
Kelly is right, the page set up is directly under the File menu, in the fourth division.  If you did not have a word processor running, you may not need to change page set up.  You will see a picture of a vertical page, [portrait] and a horizontal page [landscape] click on the  one you want.  Usually the vertical [portrait] is what you would use most, as that is the standard 8 1/2 " by 11 " page that we are most used to reading.  You will want to use "US letter" setting in the window with the little arrows on it.

hope this helps.
The 6100 is a good machine, and although some would consider it to be slow it is much faster than some of the earlier machines.  It is dependable, and unless you are going into graphic arts on a high speed modem, you probably will be very happy with it.
Our son told us when we got our first computer, that it would be a love - hate relationship.  After many years, it still is.  [there is a curl hidden on the forehead of every computer]  rolleyes.gif

clap.gif Kelly, Sharon,
We did it!   thanx.gif
I located it just where you said it would be.  I just went into a Work File (Microsoft Word)that was already there and selected: Print and voile!  I still don't know what I'm doing - yet; but I am ecstatic that all of us were able to do this together and make it work.  Considering the fact that I am a novice.  I am learning the meaning of Humility..over and over..

Cool. smile.gif

That's Weldiger by the way.

He usually adds Shalom because he's a Man of Peace.

Can't think of what to add to that. huh.gif

Mrious_be: I feel so very empowered by this forum. Together we can do just about anything: educate, fix, update and upgrade.
I need to get a few books though, and try to learn more about my "old Mac" lest people think I am prevailing on their good natures.

Never fear......Techsurvivors is here!

MrsLop,

If you can access your library there is a great book called "The Little Mac Book", by Robin Williams. There are many incarnations of the book, it's been updated so many times. Try and find an older copy that covers System 7.
