Found one
-maybe- for $35.
A few skeptical glitches added on gives me the willies,so I'm gonna pass.
1) Claims it is new [never been opened] yet later on in corresponding emails .. says used a few times.
2) I asked for a model number (what is written/stamped on the box) or some pics. OR even both.
a) Can understand if this person can't produce pics if no camera is available.
a1) There are three/four
-newer- models numbers. Stamped on the box and the adaptor.
All basically stamped/saying the same except different numbers.
Note: I didn't want to hand him the info/data on the box or adaptor 'on a silver platter'!
Wanted to see what he would come back with.Even if he shot over to apples site and got the info.
His reply: Can not take any pictures ... blah blah.
Tells me what's stamped on the box and the
unopened package inside where the adaptor is.
"Made by Macintosh in Denver,Colorado for Apple 'Industries'!
Period!
3) This person lives in the potato state. Wants $30 shipping .. ground usps .. with no insurance.
One: The whole ball-of-wax weighs less than one pound. I've had things the size of bowling balls not to mention weight sent that short a distance for around $30 insured.
Two: I asked him why didn't he put the item up at an on-line auction like ebay.
"ebay won't let me? Why? "Because of the other." What other? "The one that kicked me off."
Does your Daddy or Mommy know you're playing with their computer and that you're selling their goods?
~~~"THATS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS -- MOTHER-F***ER!!!"~~~
Well you don't have to get all mad and upset. So do they?
~~~ "NO"~~~
Think I'll pass
Figure I could locate and let the parents know what's going on but I'm sure they'll find out soon enough when they find an empty home some day.
